i loved how every1 said this is not a sequel to mk11, and they were wrong,

the game was a true sequel to mk11, sure everything is reset in a new timeline and era, but it was all part of the setup from mk11, everything that happened in the mk 11 game and lead up , so playing mk11 gives alot more context to whats happening in mk1 and why, and again NO spoilers here or in the section

aloooot of people said it was not a continuation and that the story was done in mk11 and that we would get a new story from scratch, and its literally a continuation :P

Agree, its a not a reboot, could have been called MK12.
But from the last 3 MK's this is the best story for me.

the game is definitely not what I would expect out of a reboot it feels more like Mortal kombat all stars or something
