Game crashing and freezing

First it froze when starting the first battle in Story mode (Kung Lao vs Raiden). It said "Fight", the screen went black except for the UI and it froze. I had to close and reopen the game. Then I tried going to local versus and it crashed before character select showed up. I'm playing offline btw. RTX 2060, Ryzen 5, 32GB ram.

I have the same issue with story mode. RTX 3050, Intel core I5 (13th gen), 8GB RAM.

I have RTX 4080 and it's not even playable. This is a total scam
