Nitara's Voice Acting

It's.. really bad. I knew this wouldn't be worth the hype.

Shame, since she's a pretty neat character. They really should've found an actual voice actor, since Fox sounds terrible in the role.

yeah its really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful, idk why they chose her to voice act, i can understand wanting to use her face for nitara but voice act? hell no.

Was looking forward to playing Nitara. Is her voice work annoying while in a set? I expected it to be sub par during the story. I hope its not a problem during matches.

Yeah, I hope her in-match dialogue (grunts, cries, screams, etc). proves to be better. It's borderline nails-on-chalkboard bad. Literally just sounds like a modern day California girl attempting to be edgy, and it's insanely painful.

I think it stands out more here as well because quite honestly... the rest of the voice acting is pretty damn good in the game! Then she talks and .. eeeehhhh. Shame because everything is great (imo)

Rhonda Rousey was terrible as Sonya in the previous game. Christopher Lambert and Bridgette Wilson didn't seem to care to try that much.

Agreed. Her voice acting just sounds dull, lacks synergy, and doesn't sound 'too evil'.

Which doesn't make sense cuz wouldn't it have been cheaper to have Cristina do the entirety of Nitara's VO instead of Megan?

Doesn't matter. The point is her voice acting just sounds way too generic, lacked characterization.

Only reason I can think of for her lines sounding so terrible (outside of Fox's lack of experience in VA) is that the sound director didn't have the guts to say "Hey, we need to do some retakes on these lines." They were probably intimidated cause she's some Hollyweird bigshot so they just took the first batch of scraps she threw at us.
