It's not actually crashing. Just the background is animated and nothing else happens. Had to wait approx. 2 mins 'till the character selection menu popped up and another minute or so 'till I started the actual fight. The game is installed on:

i9 9900k @ 5ghz
5700xt
32gb ram
ssd
The game isn't at all optimized by my opinion. Hopefully they will patch it up soon. Otherwise 70 EUR are in the WC.

I managed to play the game for a bit, but oddly enough, it was stuttering a lot, so I decided to go ahead with updating Windows and the graphics driver.

Now the game crashes my PC during launch on rendering resources and I can't seem to get past it.

13900k and 4090.

edit:
I figured for some reason it may have to do with my undervolt, so I changed it by 0,01, and now it doesn't crash and goes through the shaders thing just fine.
However, the CPU temperatures somehow manage to spike up to 90 degrees during that load. Do we really have to do this each time we launch the damn game? Dude.

The game otherwise runs at a cool sub 50C.

+1 Me too, using 13900K, 4090 with windows 11, keep getting Out of Memory error as i launch the game, when it was letting me in, the pre shader cache was stuck around 40% and either game crashes with OOM error or I get a BSOD.

I was able to make it run using compatibility mode to windows 8, but lots of stuttering.

Solution (for me at least, and I havent tried online with this yet):

* Turn off bloom.
* Lower shadow quality

Those two options need a lot of vram on the gpu I guess

Game uses 11GB of VRAM maxed out @ 4K w/ DLAA enabled. 4090 has 24GB of VRAM. The issue isn't VRAM it is something else. It's just giving a VRAM error for some reason and locking people out of playing the game.

Does the game can't run on 4gb vram? Cause my pc goes bsod every single time in the pre shader cache after hitting 20%
