I'm surprised that the cutscenes are locked to 30 FPS even on Ps5 and Series X. Like come on, these consoles are powerful enough to have 60 FPS cutscenes.

Also I don't know if the story cutscenes are prerendered or running on real time. Even if they're pre rendered, they should have been 60 fps. Modern consoles have so much storage that 30 FPS FMVs shouldn't be a thing unless it was like 8k or some large arse FMVs.

The story cutscenes also seems to have graphical artifacts here and there. So it's pointless to have pre rendered cutscenes if they don't even look better than actual ingame graphics.

The pc port shouldn't even have 60 FPS cap during gameplay. Even if they can't optimize their online play, at least the single player or local pvp matches should have uncapped framerate.


Mortal Kombat 4 arcade version still reigns supreme because it has high fps cutscenes.

Most fighting games are capped at 60 though and speed/timing/button frame inputs are tied to that logic.

Pretty lame there isn't a tic box in the options to remove any 30FPS limits. They better patch this up, even SF6 has 30FPS limit removal on PC

They did it for MK11, there is no reason to think they won't do it here. No one will know why it didn't come out with framerate unlocked in the first place.
