Personally I would pick mk1 because it is the fastest game and the easiest one to find matches. Especially with cross play, which mk11 sadly does not have.
If you prefer slower matches and more methotical gameplay, I'd suggest you try out mk11, if you like labbing combos and a faster paced gameplay, go for mk1!
For me MK11 is far easier. The kameo system just feels unnatural to me.
How do you lab kombos in the game? That's never made sense to me.
Oh and i dont know if they fixed that yet but, on a more technical side, you need a SSD for MK1, because i remember it would take ages to load having the game on a HDD (and i'm not kidding it was like 2+ minutes loading between matches)
have to edit; I have seen some clueless people saying graphics are better in 1, no, oh no they are not, you will not see quality product in MK franchise like 11 in a while, trust me + it didn't have radical feminism
