MK1 or MK11?

In your opinion, what MK is better? Roster selection, maps, gameplay...those stuff.

I prefer 11 for roster, gameplay and art work. Also like having a shorter 5 level tower option.

MK11 has better visual character customization and single player content, that's about it for me. Everything else is miles better in MK1 - art design, stages, charater design, gameplay, music. Some would say MK11 has better story, but I personally think story sucks in every fighting game ever made, so that's irrelevant for me.

MK1 fixes alot of issues I have with MK11. The gameplay isn't completely sluggish, and the roster isn't so bland. And the best part, it's not always online like MK11 is. This is what I want out of a Mortal Kombat game, well made gameplay and actually good rosters.

MK1 does have more skin mods. Check out gameplay videos to see if you like the new Kameo fighting system.

mk1 feels better to play but it s boring to do so and watch compared to mk11
everything in mk1 is a downgrade besides the graphics and gameplay which half of it is subjective

Arenas - MK11 due to interactives and stage fatalities
Gameplay - MK1
Single player content - MK11
Story - draw, neither is particularly good

Overall I prefer MK1 because I like it's gameplay more.

I still don't think MK11 is terrible though. It's just trying to compare the 2 games is like trying to compare Wii Sports to Wii Sports Resort. One game lays a foundation, and the next improves on it a ton.

11 is better... Though I think X is better again.
