Trying out different characters and kameos in the lab to find cool combos and setups is the most fun for me. Playing with friends around your skill level is also a better experience if you're not ready to try hard in rank

I never use the kameo button since I can't stand them. That makes the game more fun for me. I wish I could turn off kameo for CPU since I only play CPU.

not having fun , rank kasual full of a spammers and idiots who dont know how to play and playing easy characters because of winning and they are just kids with no self respect have fun !

If someones playing a certain way even in ranked ill just leave. If you're not trying to show me your best combos then i'm not really interested in being jabbed for 5mins.

My best kombo is LT + RT. 2nd best is throw. 3rd best is luckily landing a 3 hit kombo. I hate players who are too good at these games or cheat.

Yeah i used to be good at mk games when I was younger and or put a lot of time into online. For me, online will always have the same complaints as they have always been the same complaints.

Mortal kombat deception was my best MK game and I kid you not, I used Baraka almost exclusively. He was very mid tier but I used to be under the impression he was the best in the game. I saw people discussing BRC in forums back then and just assumed quickly it was Baraka when I went and looked at who people were playing in the beginning. I later found out it was bo rai cho who was the best and most broken character due to an invincible F4 i believe.

Long story short I played only online and could hang in the top 10 to 100 of the Xbox leader boards and people would get so missed that I only used Baraka but he was average at best but I knew how to use his speed and timing.

Now I just mostly play single player to not get in that mix of being overly competitive. I find actually learning how to do a lot of the longer string combos pretty challenging for some reason despite people saying it's so easy. I just march to the beat of my own drum I suppose.

Gameplay-wise, there is little fun to be had in a game where everything is so restrictive, limited, and rote; exacerbated by the forced and undue emphasis on using the awful assist mechanic. Unless one is into grinding leaderboard stats, or just grinding content for a game they likely will never come back to when it's inevitably uninstalled, there is little that MK1 offers that is either fun or rewarding. After all, if the game did have some fun to be had, it would not had the half life of make-up caked, TikTok THOT.

ignore Kombat League, save your psyche. Only local multyplayer and playing only for unlocking new content.
