Why is the game so dead?

Also, because of Peacemaker and Omniman players...they seem so out of place, totally OP, and noobs believe that they are great with them. Even my grandma can do combos with them...so people is tired of that crap!

Ideological hate. Mostly towards WB itself, then goes live service and MTX, oh and the price of the game of course + "Anti-Woke" BS. However, I am 100% sure, if Tekken 8 had launched with MTX shop and BP initially it would've received roughly as much hatred. At least MK1 doesn't suffer from pluggers and has no BPs, even Tekken players admit it.

Im a Tekken player, and I really dont like the state of the game rn. I still play but not as much as at launch. The bastards literally put a stock asset from Blender into the battle pass.

Well with krossplay itll never truly be dead but honestly don't much care what the steam population is like cause I'm finding good games every time I log in to play regardless. I still see a healthy amount of steam players online as well.

Guess that is subjective. I'm having a way better time this season than any before it. Not saying they solved all their problems but it's improving at least if even just bit by bit. Will it stay that way? Hmm jury is out but this season was a few steps in the right direction in my opinion...FINALLY!
