Every Update requires a Fresh Install

Man I'm trying to hold out hope for this game, but alas, my patience is being tested time and time again..

Every time there is a new update, it will download fully, and during the "Patching / Installation" phase, it always says "Corrupt Disk" - This has happened since the last few MK1 updates.
This isn't my SSD, it's working perfectly fine, it installs other games perfectly fine, and to finish my point, I'm going to uninstall and reinstall MK1, this time it'll work perfectly fine. Just annoying how I have to do this every time.

literally just fn happened to me, why I'm on the forum lol, Would just say endure and remember to never buy a product from WB games ever again, cuz I sure as ♥♥♥♥ ain't. WB Support is great as far as what WB allows them to do... which is Nothing! "We're working on it" Yeah well maybe shoulda done that before ya released the game... over half a year ago.

Your install should never require you to do a fresh install. Your files might be corrupted . I just do the 8-10gb update then I'm back in the game. The only thing it does after an update is prepare shaders for 5 minutes . Have you ran tests on your HDD ? Could be failing or it could be another bug with windows. Windows just loves to break stuff constantly .

Yup, happened to me rn. 99% and BAM! "Corrupt update files" Kinda pissed off to be honest. This is the first one for me. Needless to say I am not amused considering how long it takes to "update the game".

This has been happening to me since last year. What the hell is it with this game being so inconvenient and cumbersome to have on ones computer?

Updates taking FOUR HOURS, same as before. Again, what is wrong with this game. Do not blame hardware. This is a software issue.

After four hours I got "corrupted files" error twice. This current update download has issues.

The PS5 version took like 2 min. to apply a 1.2GB patch.

turn out , reinstall is the best answer "for me".

The game fails to launch; it stalls at the Mortal Kombat logo without displaying any error messages. I have deleted the "mk12.exe" file and conducted a file integrity check, which regenerated the "mk12.exe". However, the issue persists, and the game still does not start.

Update:
Launch Issue fixed by renaming folder SAVED to SAVED_OLD in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\MK12\
Game works now.
