How is everyone loving Homelander?

Place your thoughts here in regards to the voice acting and gameplay. All and all? I give it the character overall on both subject matters, is a high B. Some work or retakes (Just like with Nitara) were heavily needed, but nonetheless? Still pretty impressive! Gameplay wise is very iffy yet fun. What do you all think? Hope you all are having a wonderful HOMELANDER DAY/Pride month or whatever holiday you all are currently celebrating!

Not feeling the VA

Everybody is praising the VA, but I just don't get it.

It was the first thing I noticed while watching the trailer as soon as he said a word, something was off. I didn't even know at that time that it's not the same voice. To me he sounds nothing like the original actor, and I don't get the praise that seems to be a common opinion.
So strange, since he did the voices for Call of Duty, I don't get why they couldn't get him here as well.

I think they did really well. Was worried I wouldn't be able to get past it not being Antony Starr but the guy did his impression really well.

They can't do Butcher but they could still do the duel with Soldier Boy...

He sounds like a guy doing a bad imitation of Homelander while he's doing a bad imitation of Jack Nicholson.
