Should I get a RTX 4060 to play this game?
I have an i5 8400, 16 GB RAM (from 6 years ago), GTX 1660 TI (from 5 years ago) and a new 1080P144 monitor.

My processor and RAM seems to be enough to be enough as per the recommended specs.

The recommended specs say a 1080 TI is needed and a 4060 seems to be almost as powerful as a 1080 TI.

Should I get a RTX 4060 to play this game?

won't do much good as your cpu will severely bottleneck it

1660ti can run this with performance scaling. apparently the game is a bit harder to run now, not sure. but anyway, you can get 60fps rn with taht 1660ti if you use fsr with performance scaling. there are 4 levels and that's 3. don't even need 4.
better idea no play this game lol

Buy the game while on sale now. Then get a new pc later. That i5 8400 is too limiting.
No

it might work if you lower resolution and low settings

I could run this game with 57 FPS on my old laptop which is i5-9300H, 1660Ti on the lowest settings FHD. I'm pretty sure if you upgrade to 4060 you can hit 60 fps if you install it on an SSD.

You can try one of the scaling options. The spartial scaling has some more options. Most likely you have to render in 720p for full speed with your current setup. Just try it, does not cost anything.
