140GB?
Is this game really that big? Or what makes it take that much space?

Still a lot though, for a game like this, don't you think?

Tbh no games are just getting bigger and bigger its likely a combination off devs not optimizing it well making it larger than needed and the fact graphics voice lines and animations all take up quite abit

Graphics usally being what takes the most

Okay, I guess I can accept that. I'm just not used to see such big numbers unless it's an open world game or something.

It's the background asset like the fightstage, they even animated the car outside the cage mansion. I dont see the necessary tho, it's just western game r so dump in that aspect. Well cant blame MK; it was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ attempt of american at the fighting game genre

My thought exactly. But I guess it's because this game is newer then? I dunno.

Fun fact - of the 140gb+ installation size, uncompressed textures and sound files account for over 90gb :) this is bad game design.

Sadly newer games dont compress files inflating the size alot more than necessary,

Im sure if they tried they could likely get the size down to maybe 70 gb hell even getting it down to 90gb would be fair in todays standard

i assume there's no option to uninstall the campaign or that one other mode? i want the game but the size is sort of a dealbreaker for me

It really is ridiculous that you can’t uninstall story modes in fighting games when you’re done with even. That goes for all of them.
street fighter 6 was very smart to let you uninstall it's story mode. based on your response i'm guessing this game doesnt which is a bummer
