What is Johnny Cage's fault in MK1's decline?

I'm tired of playing online against players using Johnny Cage

It takes more than one bad apple to spoil a barrel. MK1's so full of rot, that the entire roster could all be imbued with touch-of-death, meter-less auto-combos, and it still wouldn't feel any worse than it is.

I'm from the old guard of Fighting games, SF2 and MK were the games played in arcades. Without any frills, games today have endless combos, you can go to the kitchen for a coffee and come back, and the combo is still going on.

Yes, Johnny is annoying to play against. Plus frames after plus frames after plus frames, fatal blow with a million options, mixups leading to a full combo, absurdly fast shadow kick. But good thing that mindless scrubs will pick Johnny thinking that he's a win button. He's not. Liu, Kenshi, Smoke, Scorpion and Sub are the most annoying characters to face in KL. And Scorpion/Stryker combo is just a pure cancer.

I'm not sure why they bothered to release any other characters other than Johnny Cage. He seems to be the only one people use online.

nrs were truly riding cages ♥♥♥♥ w this game, fatal blow that he can charge till unblockable, special cancel out of, and PARRY with. 8 frame shadowkick, single button launcher, combo that carries you across the entire stage and leaves you in the corner, >>>>>>hype mode<<<<< just lmfao dude.

then theres the sheer amount of content for him, how many skins the dude has compared to everyone else
