i beat Shao twice and got nothing Asrah appearently has seven or 8 total from what i heard i fought her twice and got one each time.

You can unlock the current (right) and the last (left) Titan skins. This works since Season 2. It is a nice feature as the Titan battles are much simpler since Season 2. This time I would not even call this a Titan with 2100 health. Basically it is so simple this time that a Talisman is not even needed. But every time I executed a fatality the game did not show the fatality and it just got stuck. Brutality was fine, no fatality as well.

According to some reddit posts, there're 8 color variants. The regular 6, one for each time you defeat the tiitan, one silver palette for when you defeat the titan with a finisher, and a golden one when you defeat the titan in a mirror match (General Shao vs General Shao for example).

I got the first 6 colors, but none of the silver and gold palettes. Did it work for anyone playing the PC version?

Well, I played the Titan matches very often lately and now fatalities worked. I definitely had the silver outfits. I totally forgot the mirror matches, thanks for the hint! Now I have got the gold outfits as well. It works both with the PC version.

I used Mileena and Shao for the silver and gold skins in the Shao fight and I used Lao and Ashrah for the silver and gold skins in the Ashrah fight. Ended match with fatality and skin unlocked fine.

Did you finish the current season? I didn't, guess that's why I can't unlock the silver and gold palettes.

is that confirmed? i do not have it completed yet either, i do not think that should matter

Maybe you need to get all others first? I would just repeat till you have got all. I prefer Raiden for Shao Kahn and Kitana for Ashrah (this very easy, no talisman needed). It is more fun than playing the saisonal tower and you get at least some coins. As challenge I tried to finish both without a talisman, but Shao is really tricky at the end, much simpler if you use some farts... Btw. I used all points for special for both.

At least I finished the normal mesas before, because all my stats got reset to 0 % again. It is a very stupid bug.

I used Mileena for the silver Shao skin and Kung Lao for the silver Ashrah skin (these chars have element advantage) and ofc the mirror char for gold skin

i just beat the season boss and tried again they all unlocked on their first try, so it seems to get the silver and gold ones you have to beat the main season boss which is SubZero
