reptile's 8th kombo challenge is terrible.
first, your entire kombo can be invalidated if you dont press right on the dpad for 20 extra damage. then, you need to nearly frame perfectly cancel the dash to hit a follow up, then hit yet another nearly frame perfect move, before perfectly timing your kameo to keep the target up in the air so you can YET AGAIN perfectly time a move, then time your next move to stun the target so you can FINALLY finish the combo with your fatal blow.

i have hit the kombo 5 separate times, all of which were invalidated by the fact my dpad press didnt register.

so if anybody is willing to help, what the hell are the timings for:
-the dash after "right + Y, A"
-canceling the dash with B
-summing your kameo
-hitting the "right + A, Y"

Pay attention to what the combo UI is doing. For me, I was burning the combo right after the first df3 by pressing f too soon going into my jump-in. It was counting my df3 as a df3f and I didn't notice. If you say you have hit it 5 times, maybe you are burning it the same way. Leave some neutral after the first df3. Aside that from that, it's not too difficult.

I mean the first acid ball. I was doing fast acid ball and the game wasn't counting it and I wasn't noticing.

People use common notations for NRS fighting games.... refer to this to understand better... https://www.mksecrets.net/games/mortal-kombat-1/moves/

The 4 attack buttons are labelled 1 through 4 universally for easier understanding. 1 is FP, 2 is BP, 3 is FK and 4 is BK. As PS and XBOX use different button labels everyone uses numbers so people know what buttons to press.

Ah ok... yeah you cant buffer the jump in move in advance. I had that happen to me as well and I had to stand still till the forceball hit confirmed before jumping in for the air combo.

The part that used to fail for me a lot was that the fast acid ball would throw the opponent further away from me instead of straight up and that would drop the whole combo. I believe its got to do with how much you juggle with the kameo and the timing of the acid ball hitting the airborne opponent. Once I got that correct, it wasnt too hard. It was a fun combo challenge to do though.
