does anyone else play on keyboard?

i have a logitech gamepad f310 but i feel like i am more comfortable on keyboard and i can hit special attacks easier and faster, im not sure if this is a controller issue or skill issue.

share your controls if you play on keyboard.

also what do you think about hitbox?

I usually play with my SteamDeck or XBox Series X pad. As many moves are back-forward you might accidently move diagonal and therefore the input is wrong. I would not use a keyboard to avoid this error but you could practice more precise inputs with a pad. Maybe try a different one If you visit a friend. PS4/PS5 pads might have a slightly better layout but the wrong icons for the Buttons might be shown if XBox 360 pad emulation is active. With a 360 pad you have got already lost for this kind of move...

I play kboard pretty long time, since mk 4, My arrow keys are for dpad, and num keys for Hp, Lp, kicks, block etc. If your kboard is analog and comfy, it makes quite nice experience, When on gamepad, I feel like I'm locked on 30fps, lol

I bought arcade stick when sf6 came out. It took time to get used to, but now it feels pretty good

Logitech gamepads are awfull, especially for fighting games. Their dpad except having bad quality, it also does not work at all after a while. Preferably get a specialized pad like Hori Fight Commander or the more general purpose Xbox S controller with much better build quality, including dpad.

i play with keyboard, made it to demi-god last season and im most likely going to reach god in KL this season

i recommend switching kameo from O to P because its much easier to hold the button with your little finger

you move with wasd? im gona experiment with keyboard more there is no way i will be able to input special attacks correctly with controller its just not happening.

i will think of buying a hitbox later on maybe but isnt it the same as keyboard tho?

and JIKL are 4586

but when i try to practice sometimes the input practice on the left gives the wrong input for example i press space it should give me space it gives me numpad 7

i try to do combos all the specials in the air fails for example i use scorpion i try to do that spear grab in a combo it fails everytime or doesnt fail but the ex version fails why is that happening?

the specials on the ground all work well on in the air they dont

I think a Hitbox is great for MK1, much better than an Arcade Stick. I do play on a leverless controller myself (Razer Kitsune) and I think it excels all gamepad style controllers by far since it is hyper fast und super precise. Although it can take some time until you are getting used to it, I think you should do fine since you are already playing on keyboard which comes really close to a leverless controller layout.

try to reconfigure your controls again, I don't know how to help with that
but as for air kombos and moves, they work just fine for me

keyboard inputs are all bugged look at my comment im trying to find a fix there is no way it is bugged only for me all the aerial specials arent working in combos

im trying to verify game files but thats kinda useless do i contact support maybe?
