Have you played a fighting game before? Looks like you haven't at all otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question. Every fighting game is designed to render at a max framerate of 60 fps as the animations and mechanics are programmed for that. This is never going to change EVER. Get used to this fact.
What is your CPU? This game is heavy on the CPU if you havent noticed. Having a 4090 means nothing for this game cos the GPU load is peanuts.
This game definitely varies with clock speed. I have a regular speed laptop and a very fast desktop, the game runs buttery smooth and much faster on the desktop even though both are 60fps.
Enable your e-cores and disable core parking... that should eliminate any kind of stutters or hitches. I have the same CPU and GPU as you do. Also do you have Gsync enabled? if your monitor is compatible with it, it should be turned on automatically.
I am not saying i have an issue the main thread’s reason was to know if it is possible to have unlocked frames instead of the 60fps max limit.
