I agree with that. When MK1 came out three months ago its core was already good but to many things were too flawed to be a great game.

With every patch and update the game became slightly better imo and it is now on the right track.

Best? LOL! Okay. It’s not even the best MK game. It’s super fun, and the one I’ve put the most time into learning to be good at.

MK9 is still better in nearly every regard outside of obvious ones (Graphics).

Gameplay mechanics are great.

No game this stingy should be considered the greatest. The core gameplay, arenas, and roster are solid but there's no denying the customization sucks.

It's Halo Infinite all over again (not really but it reminds me of it). Amazing core gameplay and combat and roster but man the customization is ass. One gear per person, no intro outro selection. The main reasons I play MK is for the story and characters, which includes their appearance. By MK standards it's probably one of the best but man the lack of customization might make me go back to MK11 so I can pimp out my characters in drip no cap /hj
