No one was using Baraka in MK11 like they were in MK1 that first month up until the patch.
Same with Raiden.
The chars that have the least amount of disadvantages based on specific kameo usage are the ones you see a lot online or in tournaments. But there are some who are called "character loyalists" who main a certain character purely out of love of their playstyle irrespective of their weaknesses.
Because I don't like the look of the character.
Because skill level required to play character.
Because <insert trash reason here>.
Only way to have a truly balanced multiplayer game is to only have 1 character or 1 weapon type, a mirrored map, or whatever. Basically people suck. Doesn't matter if they're great at the game, they suck in another sense unless the only things they mention are actually to do with game breaking issues.
Side note, I'm terrible at the game, so I'm not biased here.
