All progression lost for both seasons, please help if possible
After trying to link my steam account to wbgames for cross-progression on ps5. All my data was lost and my account was reset to lvl 0. I contacted wbgames but there was no help. I never got a notification when linking to choose which account's progression to use (in case anyone wanted to mention this mistake). I downloaded my steam cloud save and tried restoring, it shows my previous account lvl for a second and then when the game connects to the servers it goes back to 0. Anyone encountered this issue? or know of a solution? Thanks

Yeah am gonna try my best, support said they cant do anything on their end, since the saves are on “the servers”. They said to submit a bug report which i did. I’ll spam everyone and everything i know and can

A bug report could help but it can take abit support very much can help a guy got support to give him weekly rewards when they bugged weird they could help with a reward if a save is on the server, but the second time he had the same issue with weekly reward and they said they couldent help even tho they had helped the week before support is such a hit and miss sometimes u get an amazing support person other times u get someone fully done with thair job dosent wanna deal with it and just says "nah we cant help"

Sadly, WB made this game only controllable from their side. They dictate what you unlocked and tie it to your account. You're one of the millions it screwed up on and they don't care. Everytime you so much as whiff at the opponent, look in the bottom right portion of the screen. If you see that MK Logo show up, that is the game talking to NRS about your status.

I had 2 weekly skins glitch out on me and I got both of them added (Li Mei and General Shao). I just ensured to take screenshots and regularly followed up with support through the email chain that gets created for the help request.

Still shows support clearly can do stuff to help it just sucks so manu support people just dont even try

Bug reports just get logged into the system and are dealt with based on what issues are priority and what aren't. Anything that is widespread can be logged as a bug so that it gets fixed for everyone in a patch (like Omni Man showing locked in invasions but u can still play him or Sub-Zero EX ice clone not freezing).

Help requests are better for any account specific issues and they create an email and you can use that chain to go back and forth with them till your issue gets fixed.

NRS and WB keep a detailed file for every new person to the game. So imagine a save file on their end to discover what you can and cannot view, or use.

On their end they are allowed to unlock certain things tied to your character you log in with. When you either pay real money or perform something on their side, the will remove certain checkmarks or ticks on your account to allow you to access them. It's all built into the game itself. They just need your profile to tick their unlock.

Yes they have tools to manually fix stuff that should have happened naturally. Ideally it should not be needed but in the event it does, they can definitely do so on a case by case basis

While a bug report can fix it for all it should definitally still be fixed on a case by case when reported to them by players on thair own support link, they shouldent say they cant do anything they should help and tell them to also make a bug report to make it visible to everyone

I have had a friend raise a bug report for the weekly skin glitching while I did a help request. He didnt get it addressed while mine did. Might be a mere coincidence of who works on the item but help requests to me seem to be more effective in this aspect.

Yeah thats my main issue when I contacted them twice about the same issue, the second guy said “as my colleague said the saves are on the servers’ side which is with the developer, you can submit a bug report or vote for similar reports. I’ll be closing your case, if you have any other requests please submit another request”. So yeah it was pretty annoying

I submitted a third support request with more detailed info, hopefully i get a more competent support agent to at least guide me somewhere that’ll help. I forgot to mention that I have the steam cloud saves pre-reset which am able to use to overwrite the current save but I am only able to see my proper accnt lvl and cosmetics offline, as soon as i go online it goes back to 0.
