Just block high and dont mash. He has 0 low or unblockable special moves, all of them is super punishable and his parry can be countered by a grab, special move or a low.

Omni Man has nothing to do with MK1 anymore. The guy is completely overwhelmed. He can block almost anything and ignores your punches. This pay to win just sucks. Anyone who is enthusiastic about this champion has suffered completely and should be banned

It's almost like all of the other characters have their own block button , unless you mean his dodge then I guess just use your low or grab etc

He has that low launcher into the air combo. It's pretty good.

I don't think the character is overpowered or anything, I'm just already sick of seeing that same combo over and over. But I guess that's just MK1.

Pay to win? Overpowered? I disagree. It is just a new character and people need to learn how to fight against him. Another point to be made is that nerfs have been made to the main roster. While “nerf” subject puts him in an advantageous situation this is not pay to win. Because you can’t nerf a character randomly and expect it to work somehow. Just like the main roster, player feedback is gonna be needed but this effect is incredibly insignificant compared the effect I previously mentioned. I will repeat it again below.

The only reason he seems powerful is because people don’t know him yet. If you don’t know a character, you can’t play against them.

Also, his tracking overhead is a noob trap. Its safe on block, but if you upblock it - full combo punish. He's just honest character and if you dont respect him or mash against him - you''re dead.

Agreed. Omni man is pay to win. simple as that. He dictates the encounter from start to finish.

The DLC has to be made to seem worth it for those who buy the content, and they won't start killing DLC characters with the nerf club, at least, until the next DLC is released (most likely, not 'til the next "season" of DLC).

Just block high until he uses a KL kameo and gets free 30+ combo.

He uses it to kounter or paired with a kameo to make it safe/work.

Idk. I went against Omni Man 3 times already and won every single fight. But then again I started over from scratch and no longer Grand Master. I'm sure once I get back up there players will start being cheap again.

The only thing that makes him busted is if he has Kung Lao as a Kameo and abuses his unblockable mixup. Other than that, he's actually quite balanced and I would place him at A Tier. Johnny Cage is still munted and needs a nerf though, the recent nerf to his health being dropped from 1000 to 950 is a ludicrous excuse of a nerf.

I personally think Ashrah and Tanya needs a nerf. Ashrah does too much damage and Tanya has the reach of a whole screen.
