I have finished that trial... the easier way to do that is to use Goro kameo ambush attack... after the first EX DB1, tap RB/R1 to summon Goro to juggle the opponent and then you can execute the second EX DB1 with the up cancel.
so think of the second one as doing the qcb, then a brief space, then the up, burn, punch altogether.
good way to get the timing is to practice cancelling the EX version into the normal version. it's really quite easy. window isn't narrow at all. just need the magic up input to make the game do it.
as for kitana I don't think it is possible.
You have to do 2 EX DB1 btw.... if you read my comment above its much easier to do it with a kameo summon sandwiched in between for that to cover the recovery frames of the first EX DB1 and be able to do the second one followed by J2 into 21 xx fatal.
The Kitana trial 8 is possible btw... I have finished that one too.
Yeah I got it passed with an EX db3 after the EX bf1, combined with starting it a little closer to right so the FB will reach. So technically you can pass it.
