Game not even launching

I click play it says running and then it just stops and nothing even launches, I remain on the steam library. Anyone having this same issue? or know how to fix?

I already reinstalled, checked and updated pc and drivers, and verified file integretiy

black screen problem since 24 okt. There is a point that it because 24th update and it possible the intel cpu problem. i have that problem too and already checked a steam, reddit and wb comminity. some of guys was able to starting game using the cpu loader with only 4-6 cpu cores. But If you can run the game it has be working in 20 fps.

I have an AMD cpu, when the game first came out I was playing just fine and all of the sudden this is happening after the update

I have an AMD cpu, when the game first came out I was playing just fine and all of the sudden this is happening after the update

I have 12500 and played on release too. 25 hours in game. Sinse 24 okt we have this problem which nzr doesnt wanna notice at all. for the last 2 week they just created bug report page. and now we have another update with 22 gb data files which do nothing with this problem

you can try change cpu cores with msconfig. some of guys tells if you set 4 cores and restart you pc the game will opening. but you cant load more than 30% of shaders and game runs in 20 fps. i dont wanna try this. it is not complete solving the problem

я так понимаю ты русскоговорящая короче у меня такая проблема: скачал игру и нажимаю на запуск проходит секунд 5 и игра закрывается не успев открыться

ну это немного не то что у всех. у большинства висит черный экран и в диспетчере отображается "не отвечает" и нет нагрузки на проц. Попробуй в мсконфиге через вин+р поменять в параметрах запуска количество ядер со всех на 4 и перезапустить. Возможно зайдет в игру, но если ноут то не получится. Если сможешь зайти у тебя будет около 20 фпс в игре

у меня железо достаточно хорошее видеокарта стоит 4060 ti но в игру просто не запускает.На милисекунду высвечивается запуск лаунчера и мгновенно пропадает и закрывается игра.А по поводу ядер можно по-подробней?

msconfig> запуск> дополнительно> снимаешь галочку и ставишь 4. Применяешь, перезагружаешь и заходишь в игру. Если получится отпишись тут, но большинство писали, что это костыльный метод и поиграть не получится

Haven't been able to play since the October 24th update. I hoped this would fix it but it doesn't.

I'm gonna say it again. YOU DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE CPU CORES WITH MSCONFIG. Changing cpu usage on just MK1 app and then changing it back can possibly fix the black issue. For some people it can work, for others not.

How do you do this?

I made a lot of tweaks outside the game, and the only options that leads to game not booting was: disable fullscreen optimisation in MK12.exe properties and forcing 60fps via framepace code in engine.ini file.

I didn't have black screen issue but I can suggest few things:
- try deleting (or relocate it to desktop as backup) GameUserSettings file in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\MK12\Saved\Steam\Config\WindowsNoEditor
This will force the game to regenerate the same file and set the option settings to default and reevaluate your hardware.
- try to debloat and make a clean install of video drivers. Use this tool to do this:

Download the last nvidia drivers, run the application, browse for your driver, check recommended settings (installs drivers, HD audio via HDMI and PhysX). You can go for minimum if you don't use TV/HDMI port. Check clean install - this will completely wipe out your old drivers (I think it has some sort of DDU effect because nvidia control panel is set to default too). Restart the system. Go to NV control panel and set power management to maximum Performance, Shader Cache Size to unlimited (be aware, it will eat your C drive storage). You can set Low latency to ultra. You can further tweak in nvidia inspector:

Here you can increase LOD (-3.0 is the sharpest what you get in the game) and enable ReBAR and choose the type of ReBAR (you can test and see if it'll bring some performance). You can also set some options about memory allocation but those options are coded.

I noticed this game uses huge amount of RAM. I have 16 GB installed and when playing, it uses 15-15,5 GB. I usually use this tool to free up the memory and reduce lag:

Check enable custom resolution. Set wanted timer resolution to minimum : 0.50ms. Set the option Free memory is lower than - half the amount of your system memory (for example, 16GB RAM - 8000MB). You can manually delete standby list by clicking Purge Standby list. Click start and the application will free up your memory if the conditions are met.

Download the app (I think you need an account to enter the option settings). You can test it for free. Go to FPS Boost option, click CPU and check every option there is on the list. You can find MK1 in the list and hit boost. I usually find the best server to get better ping while playing online.
