They do. I am in KL and every Subzero seem to have unlimited wake up ice clones. Every Jcage seem to be way high damage with faster frame than everyone. Now a guest char just tops them all.
Even if Omniman isn't "S tier", he simply looks far more unique in how he fights, than the bulk of the rather same-y existent roster does. This both smacks of the game being rushed to a deadline (no time to flesh-out chars.), and the pattern of "rewarding" those who buy the "premium" versions of their products.
I can just imagine what characters we will see in KP 2 and 3- the ones that players want to see the most and are willing to pay for it (Like Noob, Jade, cameos like Batman etc)...sad
