I love it but outside of KL I just don't see anything fun except troll a bit in KoTh or casual.
This is the only frustrating thing in KL for me and it's why I love the gameplay - but KL is completely garbage. Whether you are Kombatant or EG you are not immune to the absolute dogwater that is the connection in KL.
Even 50-60ms feels really laggy. NRS wasn't clear if we'll get rollback netcode and this garbage we got seems like it's delay based netcode. Nothing is transparent, just look at other AAA FG like SF6 or T8. You get every data you need: signal strength, delay frames, rollback frames, ping. And of course you have all sorts of filters at your disposal: crossplay-on/off, Wifi-on/off, signal strength-on/off, accept/decline every match you'll get offered, training mode to warm up until matchmaking is done etc.
We didn't even have an info about ping during the fight until the recent patch. And I still hear my opponent coughing and snorting because they can't fix the damn mute mic option.
After spending some time in practice, you go online and see the difference how your character is diving through the air, dropping almost all combos but there are bots who can flawlessly hit confirm and do same 40-hit 50% dmg that lasts for a half a minute in 100+ms ping connection. Suspicious???
