Sounds like another successful MK to me
People need to stop defending this, crossplay should have been in the game day 1, all platforms should be included (well, except Switch?), and the online portion overall needs a complete rework. SF6 is feature packed and pretty much covers everything you could want when wanting to play with other people, while this doesn't even have lobbies like the previous games had, lol.
I like this game, but outside the core gameplay, everything else is rushed and lacking.
Btw Capcom specifically stated they wouldn't release SF6 on the switch... I wonder why
Taken from a google search result. NRS is actually trying to innovate by including the worst pos console to come from Nintendo since the Wii.
But to be fair… QLOC is once again in charge of this port, and that does not bode well for any positive additions/changes to the PC port. Also, crossplay was labeled as in beta for the entirety of MK11’s lifecycle, so the fact that we don’t have a functional crossplay system at launch is nothing short of pathetic. I understand video games are insanely difficult to produce, but that’s not our problem. We gave them money. Too much honestly. And instead of features, we got a paid cosmetic store.
Since PC was skipped on that fun the last game, its the reason why aren't so optimistic about getting it in this game either.
I couldn't care about story mode or Invasions, I don't play fighting games for that.
How can you say its not rushed when the online aspect of it doesn't have public and private lobbies, doesn't have options to filter out wifi players or specific connection quality, a ranked mode that inconsistently forces you into matches with people on awful connections that you would never even entertain having a kasual match with, a ranked mode with no individual character ranking, no tournament mode, no matchmaking in training mode, no training mode while waiting in KotH. The list goes on, but at least we get to listen to dweebs on a £2 microphone screaming while the option to disable it apparently doesn't even work, that's something, eh?
