"Sad" about Shang Tsung + Tanya + some thoughts.

Uff, his peak was in MK11. What a cool character. Now, he doesn't even have "stealing soul" animation. The quality is not comparable at all.

Many ppl say the game feels like a "downgrade". For the most part I agree. Other say it is just not finished, and just rushed. The majority is usually right.

The biggest thing is, what they have done with Tanya. How I was enjoyed to hear, that she will appear in MK1 again. And after seeing her first gameplay, I was completey disappointed.
She doesn't look nearly as good as in MK10.
I get it, they mustn't have sexy outfits, ok ok ok. But what the hell happened to her face.

It is not a rant. The franchise seems like to go in a wrong direction. The ratings show a clear signal.

Sounds like a rant especially when "some thoughts" are in your header.
Tanya is actually quite good just no one wants to use her because her neutral game is terrible. Shang Tsung is actually way better in this one and you can morph into your opponent obviously you didn't look into the menu

For me the Kameo system takes up too much importance and simplifies the combat to a single string of combos used over and over. Characters now lack variety in their move sets and some of them are very dependent on their kameo to be even remotely viable in competitive matches. I was watching some of the older MK 11 matches and those were fairly entertaining to watch in comparison as players were using more than a single combo string to win every match.

I know he is able to morph, just don't like the way he does. There is no animation for soul stealing.

To be honest, the only thing I miss from MK11 Shang is his corpse drop. I loved that move and it fit him so well. Hopefully Quan Chi gets a move like that this time around. Other than that, this version seems stronger.
