Why should anyone feel sad ? it will go the same rout as MK11, in a month or two it will around 3-4 k and it would be more than enough to play online anytime you want, the FGC community are not known to be large, especially on pc .

This has changed a lot in the past 5 years for a handful of reasons. We were able to actually measure that Guilty Gear sold more on PC than both PlayStations combined. Personally, I know I'm deterred from playing this game more, partially for performance reasons, but mostly because I can't reject wi-fi matches. That was a stupid move on NRS's part.

Wasnt it to be expected? Nobody plays those Game but People who already own one to get a Nostalgia Feeling. The same Game Formular gets a re-skin about every 2-3 Years.

MKX sold more than 9 and MK11 sold more than X. So no, it's not necessarily to be expected, but what's different this time is the install base that has hardware that can play the game, and NRS hasn't prioritized making a good PC port like their competitors have.

Yes! I paid over 100 bucks for this game. only to see it die :(
I just want them to release my boy Ermac and Qan before the game dies so I can main them online.

The threshold people have here for what constitutes a dead or dying game is absolutely wild. It's a fighting game with local multiplayer and good netcode. It's alive with 200 people online, let alone 10k. It's alive with one person in the room next to you that wants to play. MK11 still has 3k concurrents, and MKX still has 700. MK1 will settle at a number higher than both of those, and there's a good chance that cross play still happens someday.

mk11 before the announcement of mk1 had something like 1 to 1.5k players at the times that i was playing and i never had issues finding a match on any mode , so don't worry about it
