How come the game is so well reviewed on PC

Maybe I am missing something but the performance of the PC port is outrageous. I stopped playing after I completed the story because I couldnt stand the constant stuttering and frame drops (I have a high end PC...).
I mean even in versus mode we always have to sit through some weird benchmark before we can play against each other.


Can anyone explain how the reviews are still so positive? Really odd to me for such a bad port..

uninstalled this garbage already.
there are people on earth who are capable to enjoy the game with 30 fps lock, delayed menu and very stupid UI designed. and ofc Im mentioning the people who can play this game without performance issues. with performance issues? its even worse than garbage

at the 1st gameplay trailer, I thought that was a mobile game version or lowered graphic setting. look at liukang's fire and kunglao face you will get what I mean.

people blame mk 11 for krushing blow and poor gameplay compare to mkx. but atleast the graphic and optimization was amazing. I do enjoy the intro and outro in mk 11, that's how "cinematic experience" should be called... not something was locked in 30fps.

Who knows, you can test the game by activating the FSR 2.0 graphics mode, balanced mode or performance in the graphics options within the game.

You will see that the game becomes much lighter, as it will be rendered at a lower resolution and the software will upscale it to a higher resolution.

Or if your graphics card is Nvidia you can also activate DLSS.

I thought that the stuttering was caused by e-cores on an Intel CPU. Steam hardware survey says AMD 32% and Intel 67%.

E-cores are a really new technology.

I read that you have to do a bunch of weird things to play at 1080p like super scale it to 4K, to get it to downscale to 1080p.

Cuz it's an awesome game. I got 206 hours of play time so far. Unlike many of you, I never expected it to be perfectly optimized and without glitches. You seriously expected it to be perfect at launch?!? LMFAO. MKX and MK11 were ABYSMAL at launch... With MK games on PC it's a marathon not a sprint. They always get better but it takes time. You are free to ♥♥♥♥♥ about it or simply be patient and enjoy it as much as possible. The choice is yours.

I do enjoy the game in general, but the massive mastery grind is really off-putting.

They need to fix those exp gains. I don't wanna sit in Endurance matches on Invasion mode spamming uppercuts for a day... that's not fun, that's boring.

yeah that's what people don't seem to understand. they think you gotta reach mastery level 35 in under a week. just do that as you go lol don't overdo it. there will be more seasons in the future. more reasons to focus on that then.

Simple, for most people the game runs good.
The majority doesn't even look at the forums unless they have problems, therefore the majority of the posts are negative, that explains the disparity in opinions between here and the reviews.

MK1 optimisation on PC is terrible. I've high-end pc but unplayable to online and causal match.

I'll not play this game anymore untill get fixed.
