Can't play online

Everytime in enter ranked mode i get kicked to lobby, it happens all the time, its impossible to match against somebody. Ok, then i go to casuals. One match and then desyncs into searching match again. Man, its a shame i have a lot of hours into invasions cause this are several reasons to refund. Sorry for the rant, but since the 27/9 patch my game is absolutely broken.

Yeah, same. It seems like a 50-50 chance whether I will just get a long black screen and a disconnect between every online match in a ranked set. Sucks cause every time I also get a loss on my Kombat League record for every desync crash. Hope they fix the online soon cause it's fun when it actually works.

Same. This started this week for me. I was playing Ranked no problem a couple days ago. Now I can't get into Rank. Same with casual. one match then game session ends from desync

The only way to resolve the desync bug is to have Havik and Shang Tsung unlocked.

I discovered this after having 63 hours of game, as I pre-ordered it and have been playing since 09/14/2023.

My version of the game came with Shang Tsung, but I needed to release Havik by finishing the story mode.

I finished story mode without watching the movies.

With Havik and Shang Tsung unlocked, the game started to work normally.

I will report it to Netherrealm and post it here in the Steam discussions.

Hi bro, i finished story mode twice and i cant use Havik, it seems locked like a bug. So i really dont know how to fix it, still waiting for the patch.

Yes, i reinstall the game once. And also, right now i finished story mode from the beginning to check if i could fix the problem but no. I cant use Havik, cant use Piramid Stage and cant play online without desync :(
Also i have Shang Tsung cause of preorder.

Without a doubt the game is unfortunately bugged.

In my case, I noticed that the pre-purchased game did not create the Mortal Kombat 1 folder in the library by default. So I uninstalled the game, went into properties and went to game files and deleted the game folder created before launch.

After deleting the Mortal Kombat folder created before the official launch of the game, when reinstalling again, see if the Mortal Kombat 1 folder was created in the following path:

SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common

If the Mortal Kombat 1 folder was created in the location determined by default, see if the game works correctly, unlocking Havik.

Sorry for anything, but this is the only suggestion I can give at the moment, as my game is working perfectly after I performed these steps. But each case is unique. I'm using Google Translate.

News! One friend gift me Havik and the game desync is not happening again. So for me, the solution was to have Havik and Shang Tsung available and unlocked. With that i dont have connection problems and the game is running well for now. Hope this can help all of you that have the same problem.
