Reptile fatal blow

been trying to get good at playing reptile with all his strengths and weaknesses, but there is one thing i can never seem to land which is his fatal blow, the long windup makes it feel too slow for combos and difficult as a punish tool. any ideas on how to properly use it?

Someone did his FB on me by freezing me first with kameo frost. I hardly ever pull off Mileena's unless someone is in the air (also feels like the wind up is long). Not as good as in MK11 IMO

I wouldn't worry too much about using the FB unless it's your only defensive option and the opponent is aggressive or just stuck in down block. All FB's are pretty punishable by either jumping over them, grabbing them or just waiting and blocking neutral

If want to improve on reptile, you can watch HoneyBee streams. Think that now he is one of the best reptile player

Try and tie it in with your string starters. you can cancel into FB just like you can any special.

yeah you're probably right its just annoying when i feel like its the one part of his kit that still isn't clicking for me
