I only ran into one of those and he was completely unskilled. Just ran the same flowchart over and over. As soon as he run out of bars for wakeup attacks, he didn't do anything anymore.
Not yet. The game could be fleshed out into something great, but at the moment, for me, the game is not good and hardly enjoyable.
MK11 didn't have the greatest start either, but apart from everyone and their mom playing Fujin, the last year of MK11 was amazing.
Like every NRS game, all they cater to is the combo crowd. they removed even more defensive options from MK11. KL is full of tryhards who spam the same near half health bar over and over again. And the only thing TO DO in MK1 is go online because apart from story this game is lacking so much it makes me think its a beta.
I suppose suggested fixes would be to address everything I just mentioned but at that point the game would need a major overhaul.
At the very least give Kuai Liang back.
Man, I went from hating Sub-Zero players for all their 50-50 nonsense in MK11 to not seeing one in this game at all. I labbed him a bit, but boy he sucks in his current state :-(
Your point about the towers is very valid, in MK11 you had to grind for gear, here it gives you nothing, other than achievements. If you're into that kind of thing.
It's absolutely insane how MK11 is a much better game in every aspect, including a more balanced gameplay. The only thing MK11 needed was a slightly faster gameplay and removing KB
