Yeah its honestly smooth, feels same as sf6 for me. Im on a hitbox so I would most definitely notice. I dont know what the difference is for people but i do hear a split experience on this. Theres gotta be some setting somewhere that only affects certain pc setups im thinking.
There was a moment in the tutorial I struggled with as well. I can’t remember which part but I remember thinking it’s not registering. Just like down up special moves have never registered properly in MK. Even doing combos aren’t registering the best at times. You’re not the only one. I’m disappointed about the game as well in certain areas.
lol dont start theres about 1000 threads for this
The other is that the game appears to "eat" inputs from a string. I was wrong about this, for example, Tekken allows you to buffer the next string before you finish the first. MK does not, only special cancels can be buffered.
Li Mei 12 is +2 and only 7 frame startup with no gaps. YOu should be able to chain these for pressure. However when I set a bot to 7 frame reversal using Li Mei EX db3 the bot would sometimes interrupt me. Essentially you need to "just frame" every singe string. If you enter the next 12 one frame early, the next string comes out as a 2 which can be interrupted.
Thus if you're used to tekken where you can chain these moves it appears that the game is eating inputs. I think SF5 required perfect timing on chain inputs but they changed it for SF6 so you can buffer some strings.
