Sareena needs nerfed

there's a reason 99.99999999% of players you fight online have Sareena and the others have either Cyrax or Frost. it's ridiculous how unbalanced the Kameo system is. The rest when you win a match they switch to Sareena.....further proving that she i absolutely broken

I hope you realize that winning against Sareena kameo is " duck block at first attack > do ducked poke attack > duck block for second attack. Done.

There is nothing more easy than that. Using Sareena as Kameo means expecting the opponent to be hit high but if you stay low and block....Sareena will not hit you and neither will hte other player unless he overheads but usually they wait for Sareena's second attack before continuing any attack.

It's quite easy.
Noobs use Sareena because Sareena is Mortal Kombat 1's " Ken ", even if she is a Kameo. You understand what I mean...

Sareena is far from broken. She's pretty good and the reason she's popular is how incredibly easy to use she is. There are far stronger kameos like Cyrax.

Sareena only good in low because people open up to easy and fall for her bait. Now fight raiden jax combo or baraka cyrax...

Sareena automatically adds 17% extra damage to any character or Kombo. She needs a massive nerf.

pro tip for dealing with her if u low poke u can punish them hard as if u dont block low the projectile does nothing just a thought most ppl dont expect u to be able to deal with it thats y 99.99% of players abuse it i can agree with cyraxx though he makes things way to safe and chips u way to much iv had matchs were im blocking a baraka and lose 50 percent before i can get a turn stupid broken atm

doesn't matter if there's a very specific way to deal with her, she is fundamentally broken. There was ways to deal with android 21 lab coat on release, doesn't mean she wasn't broken as ♥♥♥♥

Sareena is not even in the top 5 honestly. If you still can´t manage to punish the Sareena blade throw you´re just bad. It´s so easy and reactable

Go take a peek at the leaderboards with the fighter/kameo choices for the higher ranks in Kombat League - you will see that not a single high-level player is using Sareena as their main kameo. She's not broken, she's not even that great - she's just easy to use when you're still getting used to kameos.

That's not a "very specific way" - learning how to poke out of fake pressure, and when to duck without blocking in order to make Highs whiff, is useful in lots of situations and is a basic piece of the toolkit that people eventually have to learn in order to move past a certain level of play.

Leaderboards are completely scrambled.
The used character and Kameo are false for most.
Even my own profile says Character and Kameo I've never even used.

Sareena is easy to punish once you get the hang of it (just duck, jump, block the first 2 and duck/poke (don't block) the 2 returns but be ready for an overhead if the opponent is close BUT her damage output needs a 50% discount for sure or make it 1 projectile.
No matter what... if you get hit by it you can go make a coffee and have a smoke and maybe a shave depending on the combo skills of your opponent before you hit the ground.
If the opponent is good then you get exactly 2 mistakes and it's done.
If he/she is really good then you get 1.

sareena is pretty trash, probably the worse kameo.

Only bad/new players use her.

scorpion /cyrax are prob the best kameos as they allow you to juggle off of throws and and knock ups.

sareena/frost can not. They are very limited in fact and if you use them or think they are good you are probably extremely bad.

Go look at sonicfox or ninjakilla or foxygrampa, none of them use those kameos,

Kenshi is the only fighter that uses frost/sub zero for the freeze so he can get his spirit out btw.

Sareena isn't actually that good, the one good thing about her is probably the reversal that barely anyone uses yet. Shes just easy to use over time you will see her less and less.
