Skipping Intro Movie

Anyone know how to skip the intro movie beyond waiting for it to load and clicking a button? Thanks!

I ask so I can get back into the game that much faster after it crashes,,,,

go to,
Intallfoler, \MK12\Content\Movies
there you will find MK12_000_BootUp, it's a 150mb file. rename it, and on startup you will skip the video.

yeah, but i have to admit it's not the best way to mess with game files we don't even know about their impact.

Don't know the impact of a file named MK12_000_BootUp in a folder called Content\Movies?
What do you imagine this is for?

Hi super late response but every time my Xbox goes through a hard shutdown(I live in the woods and this hurricane makes that pretty often) I have to rewatch the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ movie every single time it happens. And I can’t access game files bc my PC can’t run this game so I had to get it on Xbox 😀

I can understand if it cannot be skipped at all. But the fact that it can be skipped to go into the title screen where it says press any key doesnt look like a major inconvenience tbh.

Am surprised you arent complaining about the game loading shaders from cache everytime you boot up the game. This takes about 5 to 7 secs which is longer than the time it takes to skip the intro movie even.

I'm able to skip it with no mods. Just plug in the gamepad and press 3.
