Guest characters need to be separate dlc

First of all, 40€ for a Kombat Pack is an insane pricetag.
Secondly, I've never been a fan of guest characters in MK. Even from movies I really like, like Rambo and Predator, I don't want those characters in MK. It takes me out of the MK experience. I don't want to play against them online, and I definitely don't want to see a esports tournament with the Joker hopping around in the MK universe. And I don't want to pay for them in the form of a kombat pack. They should be separate dlc. I'd much rather have more MK characters which fit in the MK world.

I'm not gonna get Kombat Pack 1 because of the price and none of the characters interest me. These guest characters I'm not even familiar with. I just hope in the future guests will be separated (even from ranked if I had my way) and the pricepoints should be more reasonable.

Cool but kinda pointless post, the fact that you can't appreciate something doesn't mean it shouldn't be in the game btw and it's 40 dollars because in mk11 3 karacters were 15 dollars, you got 6 in this one + 5 Kameos which is like 1/3 of the roaster

What is pointless is requiring MK fans to pay for characters from other franchises they don't care about, just to get access to more MK characters.

You can buy individual characters separately in 11 I'm sure it'll be the same case in this game. NRS wouldnt pass up an opportunity to make an extra buck

In that case I'll be happy if they will be available separately. I'll leave this post up just as a data point for NRS that some people would rather they focus on creating more MK characters instead of guest characters.

Edit. Also the individual prices should be such that buying all the MK characters isn't nearly as expensive as just getting that pack with the guests...

Individually they will all likely cost around 7$ each

This. It's planned obsolescence. While characters like Robocop or Predator are neat I'd sooner prefer actual MK characters, especially as it would mean the game would remain available to purchase for everyone, unlike this game will be in a few years.

So far only 2 off the 6 dlc playable charachters arent owned by warner bros while yes if the contract ends the game can be taken down from being sold seeing as mkx or mk11 has this issue (yet) we can assume it will be atleast 8+ years before than occurs the rights to the character reverted back to Wes Craven's estate in 2019, and mk9 was stopped being sold in 2020 so were looking at about 8-10 years before the rights to these dlcs on mkx and them go away depending on contracts, and remember a disk copy will always give u access hell even a digital copy will also always give u access to the games
