Any clue how to make loading speed faster?

everything is ok no lag or fps drop but the loading is so slow when i want to pick a character and start the game it takes much longer than usual to load and i tried anything even lowering the graphic wont do anything
any idea?

Do you have SSD or a HDD (Solidstate Drive, or Hard Disk Drive)?

I have both but ssd is almost full so i installed mk on the HDD

Then that is 100% your issue. Either make room and the SSD to put MK1 on (buy a new SSD) or be stuck wilt longer loading times on your HDD.

This game was designed with a SSD in mind so the loading will be naturally longer without one.

Oh so It actually needs a SSD and this is not a issue of the game
so installing it on ssd will solve all my problems right?

It should. I have mine on an SSD and I have no issues loading. The issue is though is that if you play online and you opponent does not have an SSD you have to wait for their end to catch up so sometimes your still stuck in loading if the other player is on a HDD.

I changed the game from HDD to SDD and it worked way better and faster than HDD. I recommend you to delete everything from SSD and install the game there, you will notice a huge improve

SSD is going to have faster loading over HDD for almost any game.

Sadly my SSD is only 256GB which is barely enough for basic windows stuff. Cause windows is installed there. My HDD is full of the games and stuff like that...

Even 2 TB NVME are cheap now. If needed you can use a PCI-E to NVME adapter. This gives you the best speed. If possible disable swap in your slow drives. With 32 GB RAM or more you can disable swap completely.

Get the fastest internet money can buy. Get the fastest NVMe SSD you can, dedicated it to just steam games, not c-drives etc.

M.2 drive is the current fastest hd you can get. They look like a stick of ram basically, even faster than the small block ssds.
