MK Onslaught: does it unlock stuff for MK1?

So MK Onslaught recently came out... and back when MKX came out with a MK mobile game (kinda like an ovverly complicated Rock Paper scissors, and that mobile game had a few stuff you could unlock for MKX if you played it...

Just wondering if its the same... if MK:Onnslaught for mobile unlocks stuff for the main MK1 game?

I tried real quick MK:Onslaught and find it super overly complicated and boring AF (not to mention riddle with micro-transactions)... but if it unlocks cools stuff for MK1, I'll work to unlock them and delete it... pretty much what i did with the previous Mobile game... i think you could unlock 3-4 exclusive skins for some characters.... i played the mobile just enough to unlock those skins and deleted it.

It does not, though they leave the window open for linked content between the two in the future.

I hope this so called linkage doesnt happen cos forcing people to play a mobile game to unlock stuff in the console game. I hated that for MKX tbh.

Except no one is forcing you to do anything. If you want the stuff, you have to play the mobile game, but it's not mandatory. It all starts from you wanting the mobile unlocks in the first place.

Me too, I dont want this to happen. This is the first game by NRS in years that didn't want you to link. Everytime there was a problem and it was glitched and people had trouble w/ it.

No thanks on the linkage to mobile app.

Cant say I disagree on that... I just wanted that SZ announcer voice and didnt even bother with it anymore once it was unlocked. Grinding to get that felt like such a chore.
