While I agree Megan Fox isn't very good...
What it seems like to me is that the voice director was absent or sleeping on the job. They just expected Megan Fox to be enough. Every actor needs direction because they don't usually understand the tone of the game or their character beyond a few pages they read.
The other thing is unlike in MK11, MK1 intros seem to be very short, which I think is a bummer, but it also means that outside the story mode you don't really have to hear the voice actors say their lines for too long. Another thing is her screams seem to be way different from what Megan sounds like, which is really weird. I wonder if they just had her come in for lines and had someone else make the other sounds.
