Strings sometimes not working

I'm a Smoke main, but I also had this issue with Baraka. When I'm playing, the game sometimes just doesn't let me do strings. Basically the input works for the first hit, but after that it doesn't do the rest of it. For example, in 2-1-2 string, it would only catch the first 2, but not the other hits after that, and when it happens, the problem lasts for the whole game. Am I the only one??

Im also having the same issues. The strings just dont work at all for several characters.

Do you have faulty controller wires or controller ports? I noticed once my controllers port was shaky causing a switch from kb/m to controller controls randomly in the middle of a match causing input errors. Check your equipment.

Typical Smoke main: doesnt know the timings because all that Smoke mains do is mash.

It's been happening since day one whenever I use Li Mei and do her fatal blow. Sometimes itll connect other times she will block. It's stupid. This tends to only happen in online mode and never practice. Def not a controller issue as its happened with every controller ive used.
