does any1 know how to fix stuttering gosh bro i love this game but they really love to disappoint one min my game is stuttering one min its not please help smh

try to cap frame to 60fps in the nvidia panel for MK1

what worked for me was changing the nvidia control panel performance mode from normal to prefer high performance. (under 3d settinsg, choose the game then change it from there)

I'm having the same problem on my end. Tried all of the fixes I've seen people suggest. Changed the Nvidia setting in control panel, changed bordless to windowed mode, made sure monitor was on 60hrz, made sure i was on most updated drivers, I know I have above recommended hardware, etc. Nothing works. Been having stuttering issues since early release, they released a patch and it actually got worse. I honestly don't know what to do.

Disable e-cores in your BIOS. Worked for me.

if u have a 12th or 13th gen cpu....go into your bios and disable your e-cores....i had same stutters/hitches....and now they are completely gone

Intel only. Guess we AMD users should wait for a patch

If any of you guys are still having this problem and haven't tried changing your Windows Power Options setting then I suggest doing so. Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> Power Options. Change to Balanced if you're on High Performance.

This is what's helped fix slowdowns for me:

Set the game to Efficiency Mode from the Task Manager (right click on the mortal kombat 1 task). That resolved the every-second stutter.

Now the game seems far more stable. At least playable. I have a 3060ti and i7-12700

Super annoying that I have to do this everytime I launch the game but it is what it is, now if matchmaking didn't randomly disconnect that would be awesome as well

Disable your e-cores in the BIOS. It really does work and you only do it once.

You also shouldn't have to be going into BIOS and disabling parts of your CPU for this game to work... Expecting a Patch here ASAP NRS! PC seems plagued with issues and all these wonky 'fixes'.

Yes, you shouldn’t have to do a single mf thing after paying $70 for a game except press PLAY.

HOWEVER, disabling e-cores is the solution. Take it or leave it. NRS doesn’t give a single, solitary, frosted ♥♥♥♥ about us PC players. And WB cares even less.
