cant achieve 60 fps on my pc

ive been looking for solutions or to see if anyone is relating.
So my pc build cant get 60 fps on mk1, at most i am getting from between 33-44fps with different settings.

but my mid tier gaming laptop is getting a steady 60 fps on its highest settings which is about mid high.

my pc cant even get a steady 50 fps on low settings. curious if anyone is relating or found a fix? i have tried different resolutions and cleared my caches etc.

but my specs for both are


Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor
, 32gb RAM,
GeForce RTX 3070 8GB
win 10



and my laptop specs are
11th gen intel i5-11260h @ 2.60hz
24gb ram
Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050 laptop gpu


i am using a 144hz 2k 1ms curved gigabyte monitor

i have a rx 5500xt 8gb, my setup is good for mk1 but my fps drop so much, in some maps (corrupted forest night, and when i call sareena kameo the fps only drop) in every settings the drop fps is the same

Have you tried setting your monitor to 60hz? There's some settings in the nvidia control panel that people say helps as well.

Not only! This is a problem for everyone! those who say that their game runs at 60 fps either they do not understand this or they are lying to mislead us. I think the "Ermacers mod" will appear and we can fix this problem via a fix, just like we do with Injustice 2

Every Mortal Kombat on PC has gone through a lot of optimization. The current part is no different. They will continue to patch the game for some time until there are no stutters or lags.

Try turning it off. Not saying that is the issue, but VSync will chop your framerate down if it can't hit your monitors refresh rate. So for 144hz, if you can't get 144 fps it will try to sync every other refresh, so 72 fps, if it can't hit that, it will sync every 3rd refresh, so 48 fps and so on.

see ive talked to people with similar builds and some are getting 60 fps and some arent

I'm on a 144hz display (1080p) with vsync off and the game is locked at 60fps, 30 in menus/fatalities, on a 4070. I would expect a 3070 to hit 60fps no problem, unless maybe you're at 4k or something.

There is absolutely nothing you can do to fix it until NRS releases an update for it
For now if you have an RTX card, the game is completely unplayable

but my laptop has an rtx card thouu not unless it’s different compared to actual pc cards?? my laptop has a nvidia RTX 3050 laptop gpu. and i get 60fps easily
