I've tried with DLSS "Quality" Upscale Sharpness 0-100
Advanced settings: Ultra High, 16x, Ultra High, On, On, On, On, Ultra High
I've also tried with DLSS off and AAMode on DLAA.
I've also done DLSS off and AA Mode off
I'll make sure to post some tonight with labels on the photo
Thanks bro. I appreciate you guys throwing in your ideas. I'll try to keep you guys posted if I find anything that makes it look better. Also I agree Console is just the way to go at this point. Its unfortunate because I really enjoy the Ultrawide look on PC.
Thanks for comparing them. I felt like it was just me. Im going to upload some screen shots of the comparison to my account later tonight so everyone can see what im talking about in terms of clothing details looking better on console. I haven't found any solution yet. The best look so far on PC is with everything Ultra and DLSS 'Quality' at least from what I can tell.
Dlss off / DLAA ON
Vsync off
Im on an ultrawide but also hooked to a 55in and not sure why it wont show 3840 for this game but it will for others.
I'm also with the guy a few posts above, I really don't want to pay to play online, and the comparison reviews online dont really answer my questions.
No prob man, I appreciate the help. I have tried that.
If you wanna get a good look at the zoomed in screen shots ive uploaded them as artwork on my profile. I would have uploaded the full screenshot from PS5 and PC but Steam says the file is too big.
Idk if this will help but maybe go into 'Nvidia Control Panel' > 'Adjust desktop size and position" > 'Scaling' tab > and choose 'Full-Screen' or any of the other options then relaunch MK1. See if that helps
Damnn thats a tough one cause I dont wanna suggest buying it on console and for some weird reason you end up getting the same issues but dude Ive only had the PS5 version freeze on me once online. Its way better for console currently. and since console is the inhouse version of they game it will always have priority on updates and content. Fingers crossed they fix PC and give it just as much love.
- PS5 you can see the vertical texture details on shirt and the shoulder pad details are better.
- If your PC version has better detail than my PC version can you please upload a screenshot zoomed in on Lao and let me know.
Using NV Surround.
I'd imagine it just has to do with monitor differences in the scenario you are mentioning. What are the specs of your monitor Vs your screen you view on the PS5? They are both 4K native? Do you know any other specs? I have the game running on the screen of my blade 18 with a 240hz 500nit 2560x1600p screen and on my LG 65, 4k 120hz screen and the LG for this game looks so much better but a lot of it has to do with the contrast ratio, and overall quality of that screen.
I do find it strange that you are referring to detail that seemingly would benefit lack of upscaling and other packaged PS5 aliasing compared to the PC where you can turn that off or set to DLSS Quality with DLAA for potentially better than 4k imaging through the reconstruction. DLSS quality I think should run better on PC but im not sure what the PS5 did on the digital foundry review. DLSS Quality mode is rendered from 1440p so I would think this game would run at best at 1440p on PS5 but possibly 1080p. Either way im not sure since your viewing in question is really what resolution and aliasing would benefit on the PC typically, so my guess is the monitor quality or HDMI Vs Display port differences.
IT's DLSS upscaling or DLAA you cant sadly use DLSS with DLAA
