Thank you for participating in the alpha test
Yeah I got that kinda money to throw away on sh!t that interest me.
Why?
Not sure what are you seeing but, maxed out(go into advanced settings in Graphics settings) PC version at native 4K with DLAA looks better than PS5 version of the game. The difference isn't groundbreaking but you can see on PC better shadows, more particles on certain moves, no upscaling artifacts in motion(you cant disable upscaling on PS5), higher LOD in the backgrounds.
Also if you disable V-Sync on PC(which you should) the input delay is very noticeably lower than on PS5(where you can't disable it). For that reason alone PC version is better to play.
so you value 💩 more than money
Definitely thats how much money I have hahaha
I wish I could show you the screen shots of what im seeing.
Maybe if I give you an exact description of what im looking for. On PS5 with Kung Lao on his default costume I can see the vertical line texture on his shirt. On PC the lines are blurry regardless of DLSS and DLAA in the advanced settings. Ive got everything maxed.
Also im not saying I dont believe you, It could be the fact that my ultra-wide is making it look this way.
Console versions runs on dynamic resolution to keep stable 60 fps, that alone makes the difference, in particular ps5 version runs on a slightly lower resolution even compared to xbox, details are also not on ultra but to see the differences you need a microscope and it's honestly irrelevant.
I didn't play the ps5 version long enough to get into every single detail but the upscaling and the resolution switching was pretty noticeable since I'm used to the pc version where, having a capable hardware (3080), I was able to deactivate every upscaling technology and enable AA.
Anti aliasing on ps5 it's also more present, especially in the characters hair.
Another factor that's currently irrelevant but to consider: ps5 version, most likely, won't get the fps cap removed for the non playable content.
TLDR: if your hardware can run this game in 2k, max settings and without dynamic res you already have a better version than consoles.
If your pc is capable to do the above without using upscaling tech, console won't even get close to the quality.
All of the above in 4k: godlike.
Technically, pc vs ps5 it's flawless victory for pc.
Ps5 has the upper hand on patch frequency and userbase numbers.
Thanks for the suggestions. For some reason neither of the settings are making the details look better. Again its not that It looks Bad on PC. Backgrounds and everything else looks great. I just noticed that the clothing details don't compare to console.
There's no guarantee that's going to happen for the PC version, either.
If that was even remotely true, wouldn't the PC version look far better?
