Shortest and worst MK yet. (Story)

The story and writing was horrible. Bland, boring and predictable not to mention only 3 hours long if that. The graphics are also a huge downgrade from MK11 as well as the voice acting. And a small roster of characters, Why are developers going backwards instead of forwards making constant inferior sequels and charging more money for it? Then of course there's the performance issues the gaming industry is honestly a mess...

bro this was some 90s kung fu movie meets avengers oddball ride - i enjoyed it WAY more than 11s or X. Also i'd suggest staying away from the first half of games called Mortal Kombat if u lookin for story :P
FGS games rarely include story and if they do they do it to keep the lore going and justify adding new stuff etc and as a way to get some familiarity with the different available characters. what were you expecting here? a 20 hour cinematic story which includes every single character that is on MK LOOOONG roster plus a couple of new ones? cuz that would be like expecting diablo games to have a deep moving and thought provoking stories that change people lives.

only 3 hours long if that. - That is just untrue, all cutscenes together are just over 4 hours, excluding any gameplay. The story has about 60 BO3 sets.

The graphics are also a huge downgrade from MK11 as well as the voice acting. - Graphics are somewhat subjective but the upgrade to UE4 would lead me to believe that the graphics, especially the particle effects, are an upgrade. Voice acting is debatable, I liked it except for Fox.

And a small roster of characters. - The only point where your argument is argueably valid. MK11 had 26 (on launch) playable characters, MK1 has 23, but MK1 has 15 Kameos to choose from addtionally, which adds some variety.

The port and the performance the game delivers is not in a good state for most players, that is true, and MKX had very big issues with netcode early on, while MK11 suffered from comparable issues to the ones MK1 has.

All stories are horrible. Usually people buy MK games to play online . I dont think someone will give 70 bucks for 3-4 hours story.

Mortal kombat is not story based game like god of war ,last of us .... It has story but its not its main priority...
