Any reason why they changed most of the characters to Asian?

Sindel, Kitana and Mileena were not supposed to be Asians and never intended to be till MK11 Kitana and Mileena, but Sindel was till not.

Scorpion is Japanese, Sub-Zero is supposedly Chinese.. as well as Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Shang Tsun of course.

Okay..... Kaitlin Zamiar or however it's spelled. Lia Montalongo (SP) Becky Gable. These are all the Female characters in the original Trilogy. Katalin Zamiar or whatever. No she didn't look Asian at all. Maybe she wasn't intended to look Asian. MK 3. Look at Sindel's ending with how they made Lia Montalongo look.

Well, it is Loo Klown's timeline, so... However, changing Sindel was asinine, given that that puny pecker, Peking duck would never have had a chance with mommy anyway.

Of all the characters who should not have been "Asianified", it was Sindel... Albeit, again, it does make sense in the context of who the jealous, loser protagonist in question is. He didn't want her lusting after Shao's BSC again... Not that it will work in the end, anyway -- the kavorka ("lure of the animal") transcends timelines and universes.

Yea. raiden was NEVER asian, either was sindel.

Scorpion and subzero always had masks on but pretty sure they weren't orginally asian either.

And i could of sworn kitana and mileena were like middle eastern or something. (hence their indian outfits)
