Forget the prize pool. Ed boon is getting grilled real bad. He asked for $8 on twitter on a day when they released the fatality at such a high price. Probably the worst joke you can throw out.

Many suspect he is not really aware of the pricing at all. WB NRS is now in deep s*** territory as this is getting really ugly fast. Some WB execs need to get fired. Even the most pro-MK-friendly youtubers are fighting WB.

I actually don't get this... My first impression was that he was being ironic -- poking fun at WB, by pretending to need money to edit his post. That, or he was ribbing Musk at the eight-dollar "verified" charge for accounts on Twitter X...(?) 🤔

Surely, Edward Baboon is not so far gone, and/or so detached from reality, that he thought it a good timing to troll purchasers of, arguably, the most rushed, half-baked, and broken product in the NRS era, at the exact moment they became "the DLC meme"...? 🥴

At this point Boon needs to come out and explain this halloween cash grab was a 1-time thing. Probably WB can walk away unharmed unscathed.

I for one are all in favor of DLCs, but there is a real value problem here. If WB wants to make serious money how about some DLC playable char packs.

DLC pack 3 - playable cyrax, sektor, sareena
DLC pack 4 - playable jade, kai, shujinko
DLC pack 5 - playable tremor, drahmin, chameleon
DLC pack 6 - playable jarek, mokap, mavado
DLC pack 7 - playable shinnok, sheeva, kintaro

I can go on and on... this is easily another $120-$150 worth of DLCs I would gladly pay for.
