How do you unlock kameo fatalities?

The game tells you the combo necessary to perform kameo fatalities but the text appears red-out in the menu and it simply doesn't work. Neither does easy kameo fatality work. I am so confused... how do I unlock it?

Kameos only have 1 fatality and 2 brutalities, the extra brutality you unlock with mastery.

Edit: I probably should have read the post before saying anything, ummm I'm not sure what is going on there. Did you try to use the fatality in practice?

yes, i tried so, including using the easy kameo fatality option... nothing works

If you can take a screenshot and don't forget to be the correct distance because some fatalities you need to be a certain distance from the opponent. I don't know if easy fatalities work like that or not but try it out anyway.

You may not be meeting the distance requirement for them. You can always go into fatality practice and use unlimited time to get the correct distance for the fatality to work.

Darrius and Shujinko are exceptions. Darrius only has 1 brutality and Shujinko has none.

I was not aware of this as I have not used either of them yet, good to know.

Distance doesn't change anything. They simply don't work whatever I try...
