Yea and it’s a total bummer…I’m also a hypocrite when it’s come to MK so my rule of not buying $70 games is going to be broken in September.

Yes ther isent as much pushback, but ther also dosent need to be just wait 6 month to get a 50% discound and be happy.. the game isent wors after 6 months its usaly in the right place and not plauged with bugs.

Well more people will go into piracy or stop buying games until they're at steep discount. In the end the profit won't be that big for those companies.

People will ALWAYS try to find it cheaper or free. And the price increase will just point MORE people to do the same.

I love Mortal Kombat and I'm not buying it even if it goes on sale, I would have preordered it but instead I'm adding it to my ignore list. MK are great games but the amount of content there isn't 70$ worth. Piracy is defiantly going to be a problem as the prices go up on these games. I know dozens of people who started pirating of the price increase of the aaa games. There are discords with thousands of people doing it.

This. Except SF6 will keep its price good til Xmas sale or Autumn Sale. I have a feeling NRS is already working on MK2 cause this game is not going to compete well with SF6 at all. let alone Tekken 8 coming out later in the year.
